A proposed integration

Memory for field robots.

Robots and devices learn things about the places they work: a door that sticks, a shelf that moved, a charger that fails in the rain. This is a proposed way to keep those notes in a mind that the next machine on shift can read.

Example

Site robot

Request

Starting the night round in warehouse B. Anything I should know before I begin?

Recalled from the mind3 records

  1. 01Site noteAisle 7 floor is wet after 22:00; slow to half speed.
  2. 02HardwareDock 2 charger dropped power twice last week; use dock 4.
  3. 03HandoverDay robot left pallet 7-14 half scanned; finish it first.
  1. 01Start the round
  2. 02Recall site notes
  3. 03Log what changed

Illustrative request and records, made up to show where memory fits.

The problem

What slips away
between sessions.

01

Each machine starts blind

A robot new to a site, or rebooted after an update, does not know what the previous shift already learned.

02

Notes stay on one device

Local logs are stuck on the machine that wrote them; the rest of the fleet never reads them.

03

Incidents lack a record

When something goes wrong, it is hard to show what the machine knew at that moment.

With Pinlo

What this agent's memory holds.

01 / Site memory

Notes about the place

Save hazards, layout changes and access rules as records tagged by site and zone.

SiteZoneHazard

02 / Handover

Shift-to-shift continuity

Each machine writes a handover record at the end of a round. The next one recalls it before starting.

HandoverOpen taskShift

03 / Fleet sharing

One mind per site

Grant each machine's key read access to the site mind, and write access to the ones that should add notes.

FleetReadWrite

04 / Incident trail

What it knew, when

Anchored versions fix the set of notes at a point in time, so an incident review can see what was in memory.

The workflow

How the work
uses memory.

  1. 01

    Recall on start

Before a round, the machine recalls notes for its site and zone and the last handover.

  2. 02

    Note what changed

During the round it writes new hazards or finished tasks as records.

  3. 03

    Hand over

At the end it writes a handover record; an operator anchors the site mind daily.

Where the line is

This use case is a proposal, not a shipped product. Pinlo does not control machines or replace safety systems: safety logic must stay on the device and in your operations stack. Memory adds context; it never overrides a safety rule.

Setting it up

Shape the records.
Connect the agent.

Quick start
  • Give each machine its own key and wallet address, never a shared one.
  • Open one mind per site; label it with the site code.
  • Keep records short and factual: what, where, when.
  • Anchor on a fixed schedule so incident reviews have a clear version to point to.

Questions

Worth asking
first.

Is this live today?

The memory API and contracts work for any agent with a key. A robotics-specific integration is a proposal; nothing here is a shipped robot product.

Does memory control the robot?

No. It provides notes. Movement, safety and stops stay with the machine's own control system.

Do machines need connectivity?

To read or write the hosted store, yes. A machine can queue records offline and sign them when it reconnects.

Can an operator see what a robot knew?

Yes, through the records and the anchored versions of the site mind, which fix the set of notes at each anchor.
